Pacers Making Play at Millsap?

But he scored in double-digits 6 times to Hayward's 15. Hayward's shooting proficiency from 3 cannot be downplayed, that is huge. Hayward also handles the ball. And Alexander never had a stretch like Hayward's (whose numbers are terribly skewed for the season since he was just awful until about February).

True, not saying they are similar players, just saying overall they had a similar season. Alexander never got the extended minutes Hayward received later in the year, but he had his share of nice games (I think he had a 16 point game against LAL).

WTF happend to Joe Alexander? I never thought he would be great, but he has hardly gotten any time in the NBA. He had a similar rookie season to Hayward's, then got traded and got 0 minutes on the Bulls.

I believe he had a very serious injury the beginning of his second year.

Paul Millsap & Raja Bell for Danny Granger & George Hill would make sense for BOTH teams.

Change it to from Granger to Paul George. At least with George we know there's potential for future improvement (even though his 3pt% scares me -- less than 30%). With Granger, we're pretty certain we'd be getting a low-percentage high-volume shooter. Hill and George would help Jazz defense, but Millsap would still be the best player in the deal.

Realistically, we're looking at trading Millsap for B Rush/McRoberts + draft picks + fillers.

Indy isn't going to give up Granger, not when it is still in 'getting-in-playoff-mode'

Paul George is viewed as a potential superstar (and he very well might be). Hibbert probably isn't going anywhere either, it's hard to find a decent big man let alone a mobile 7'2 one.

Collison is a maybe, but I can't see it because Pacers spent so much time looking for PG in the past few years. As an UCLA alum, i've watched a great deal of Collison. He performed admirably in his rookie year when CP3 was hurt, and had 3 coaches within 2 years, I dont think Indy is ready to give up on him yet. Not to mention he plays very good defense that is often overlooked (he was hurt during the playoff last year).

Oh, and they just traded for George Hill, highly doubt they're going to give him up without seeing how he performs first.

No way KoC is gonna trade Millsap for a draft choice and reserves. He's gonna want an established player in return.
For us, yeah, of course we'd prefer George over Granger, but Indy ain't doin' that.
As far as Hill goes, I'd take AJ Price and a #1 instead. Price actually played well for them. Always gotta have options when trying to trade...

Are you sure you've got that the right way round?? Do you seriously prefer George over Granger?? George has some nice upsides sure.. but enough to prefer him over Granger?? Really??

Granger is not young, George is 21. Granger is owed $40 million, George is practically free. The Jazz are rebuilding.

George over Granger. It's a ****ing no-brainer.

George is the Pacer's equivalent to Hayward. He had some nice games, and a good ending to the season (his D on Rose). He is now overly hyped. I honestly don't think he is that great, but Pacer's fans are up in arms in about how great he will be.
