Here’s my unsolicited opinion on this trade:
Two parents have a sick child. She’s running a fever of 102 and she’s really uncomfortable, unable to rest. The wife has been trying to take care of her all day and sends the husband to the store to get Tylenol so that hopefully she can reduce the fever enough to allow some comfort and for her to get some sleep. The girl doesn’t need anything fancy, just a bottle of $3.99 Tylenol and it can even be the Equate brand. The husband comes home with a new flavor of Doritos to try and some mints that were really cheap. The wife asks where the Tylenol is and, honestly, he totally forgot. But not to worry, he got the Doritos and mints essentially for free because he had a gift card that was going to expire and he essentially got the goods for nothing. Besides, Walmart may have not had any Tylenol, anyway.
The Doritos may be good. They may really hit the spot. But anyone who tells you how good they may taste is being willfully obtuse.
