Belinelli best UFA available at SG position?

Not a terrible thought, he's a terrible defender though and I figure if he was worth much we'd have heard something about him.
The Jazz need a SF really badly. Dunleavy would've been just about perfect. Also REALLY wishing the Jazz would've found a way to draft Jimmy Butler.

He's not coming to Utah. For starters.
Yes, he is a poor defender and inconsistent, but he is a respectable shooter and he can create his own shot!
Hamilton would be a great option as well!
Well if he was amnestied by Detroit and Utah won the bid would he really have a choice? See Billups and the Clippers. I am unclear on how he was released though.

They just old-fashioned waived him. Reportedly Detroit saves $11 million on the deal and they'd still keep their amnesty in case they wanted to use it on the biggest piece of crap on their team (Ben Gordon).
Hamilton doesn't go through secondary waivers (the bid system). He probably signs with Chicago. Assuming the MVP learns how to run an offense that would be a great fit for him.
If this is the case then I doubt he will come here. I would like to see him in a Jazz uni for 1-2 years as a mentor for the wings type of player.

I've always like Belinelli, although he is fairly similar to Hayward. Not just a shooter. Can create and distribute too.

disagree^. I think Hayward is a lot more talented than Belinelli. Similar would not be a good way to describe him. how about something like, An extremely poor, very poor, desolate, bereft of all substance, poor man's Gordon Hayward. .. Yeah!!! that would work! ;
