Utah got LUCKY. I haven't been that upset for a very long time. Thank goodness it lasted 10 seconds until I changed the channel.

Utah got LUCKY.
Translation:
Trout got Lucky (with his wife) while getting lucky it made her stomach upset for a long time but she was happy it only lasted 10 seconds. But lets be honest Trout even though you typed 10 seconds we know the general rule on things like that is to divide by three so it was more like 3.3 seconds, luckily for you're wife not so much for you.
No joke when I posted this the other day I was recovering from a cheap shot to the back of my head, really not sure how or why I got hit first or at all other then the person next to me was the main target. Once I got up and realized what going on and pushing people off me I tried to help the other guy who had a few people on him, mind you I'm a 6' 160pd skinny non tough guy (to say the least) so maybe it was me being dazed or the adrenaline but while getting people off me and helping the other guy I got hit and kicked a few more times (in the back and back of the head) but not a single one actually hurt or dazed me. 2 days later I'm sore and got several goose eggs on my head but not bad really at all especially considering the other guy had to get staples in his head from the bar stool the 3 a holes used to cheap shot us from behind. This whole post makes little, to no sense at all. But of course, what would I expect from a slobbering drunk who cheated his way through his G.E.D. and roots for Anti-Indian bigots?!
You make me sick, sir.
Anybody got anything on any possible OC names? I figured if A-Rod was just going to be promoted, you'd have seen Whitt make that call fairly soon after the bowl game. I'm guessing that the fact that we still have yet to hear anything mostl likely means Whitt is looking for somebody outside of the current staff.
Will it really matter though? You guys are F'd in the A for the foreseeable future thanks to your QB situation.

I think it's A-Rod's job to lose. If it's not A-Rod, it must be a pretty big name.
Whitt made the comments about them promoting from within. Not only that, but A-Rod was pretty decent in that position last year. If a big name like Chow didn't fall into Utah's lap, A-Rod would probably still be the OC.
Even though it hasn't been made public, Schramm must have known something or he wouldn't have abruptly left for Fresno State.
Honestly, I'm fine with whatever. Chow sucked at calling plays. A-Rod was better last year, and will probably be much improved next year. So if it's A-Rod, that's an improvement. If it's someone even better than A-Rod, I'm obviously happy with that too.
The University of Utah and its athletics department has decided to keep the circle and feather logo.
In a statement, the university said, the school “Periodically reviewthe use of the circle and feather logo out of sensitivity for native tribes across the country as well as Utah fans. At this time, the athletics department will continue to use both the circle and feather and the block U logos.”

I haven't seen Whit's quotes about promoting from within. With that being said, the reason Kyle was even talking with Chow last season was because he was looking for some references on guys with experience in the West Coast Offense. The decision to move away from the spread and into the West Coast was a very deliberate move by Kyle. Chow falling into his lap just sort of happened after the fact.
I also disagree that ARod did a good job in 2010. I already know you and I disagree on that, but I think ARod's offenses put up huge numbers against awful defenses and wet the bed as soon as they faced a defense in the top 30. Utah has now been recruiting pro-style QB's for the past year. It would be a horrible mistake IMO to flip-flop and go back to the spread after one year. It will make Utah look extremely unstable and could cause players like Travis Wilson to de-committ. So if Utah stays the course with the west coast, (as they should) it then raises the huge question of whether or not ARod is ready to run that offense after only a year of learning.
ARod is a spread guy, plain and simple. You don't abandon the pro style offense after 1 year and assuming you keep it, you certainly don't put a guy in charge of a Pac 12 offense who only has 1 year experience in that system.
