And this episode by the Bulwark makes it pretty clear the stakes of another Trump term. He wanted to brutalize and murder immigrants to discourage immigration and asylum seeking.

He wants to create his own Wagner like militia to be used against domestic political opponents and revamp the entire federal apparatus to be loyal to him. I highly encourage you to listen to this episode from this former Trump administration official. It’s important to keep reminding people about the stakes of 2024. If you still support trump after all of this, you clearly have a character flaw.

I showered with my daughter when she was little. She had never showered before and needed help and instruction. Crazy thing about showers, you can actually wear a swimming suit in a shower.

Here’s another Big Lie created to serve the purpose of putting Trump back in the Oval Office. Incredible that Republicans are willing to adopt this tact. Incredibly irresponsible to keep tossing out lies suggesting that Democrats are the enemies of American democracy.

Insisting that Donald Trump be held to account is the responsible thing to do if we are acting to protect our democracy, and if we are acting out of respect for our democracy.

In the long run, acting to avoid assuming this responsibility via the creation of still more Big Lies, is irresponsible, damaging to the body politic, and History will demonstrate the Truth will win out anyway.

It all goes back to them viewing democracy with disdain. They don’t believe they’re allowed to lose elections. They don’t view their opponents as legitimate.

I agree. And his only hope is that he wins so he can pardon himself. I believe it was Charlie Sykes who said this, but literally the only job in America that’s open to Trump is president. No where else (other than maybe some evangelical churches) would hire him.

I just checked my 401K account for the first time in a long time. Holy ****! Since the end of march it has been skyrocketing! For the year so far my rate of return is over 14%! I think last time I checked it was like 5% and last year around this time I think it was in the negatives.

The trolls are getting more and more desperate. Their insults are becoming worse and worse too. I just can’t see how calling another poster a pedophile isn’t a violation of forum rules. What would be a worse personal insult? I’ve reported it and will await the result. At some pt these trolls need to either change or leave the forum. Keynote’s last few posts in this thread before he got banned was conspiracy trolley nonsense.

Presidential historian Michael Beschloss sums up a second Trump term in two words: “presidential dictstorship”
