My mom said she will not vote for him in 2024, although she did in 2016 and 2020. Not because of the mug shot, though, but because of Jan 6. That is her birthday and he defiled it.

Yeah more and more of the folks I know that voted for him before are changing their mind. Still have a neighbor and a couple relatives who seem to think he's an immortal magical being or something. But it's encouraging to see some people finally recognizing what he is.

So true. For a lot of people their politics is every bit as much a part of their identity as their religion. Which is why it's hard to switch religions and political parties. It's changing an essential part of the self.
