North Carolina Republican gubernatorial nominee Mark Robinson has been battered for months by his Democratic rival and other adversaries for seeking additional abortion restrictions beyond current state law and for past comments upbraiding women on the issue.

“Abortion in this country is not about protecting the lives of mothers. It’s about killing the child because you weren’t responsible enough to keep your skirt down," (damn) Robinson said in a Facebook video in 2019, the year before he was elected lieutenant governor in his first bid for public office. He says **** like that...... Yet his own wife had an abortion.

Now Robinson is attempting to shift the broader electorate’s views of him on the issue through empathy with a new commercial starting Friday that describes his wife’s own abortion decades ago and leaves the impression he’s comfortable with the state’s current 12-week ban on most abortions. “Thirty years ago, my wife and I made a very difficult decision. We had an abortion," Robinson says in the ad, adding that it was like a "silent pain between us that we never spoke of."

Out of curiosity, without running to Google, do you know why this happened or are you just posting something with a headline you like?

For those who don't know, it happened 6 days ago for a reason, the issue was quickly sorted out and the account was reinstated. The MSN article was written a day ago, a full 5 days after the account had been reinstated. Do any of you know why the account was suspendered 6 days ago?
 
Its still crazy to me just how many americans have forgiven trump for this (or simply choose to not believe it even happened despite the guilty pleas).

A group of Trump supporters then stormed the Capitol, some of them chanting threatening slogans about Pence.

A woman has pleaded guilty in the Arizona Trump electors case, just two day after lawyer Jenna Ellis reached a plea agreement.

Ellis, once a major figure in the Trump campaign, may be called to testify against former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani, ex-White House chief of staff Mark Meadows and her other Arizona co-accused.

Prosecutors in Michigan, Wisconsin and Nevada have also filed criminal charges for fake Trump electors in their state.

In April, Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes announced the indictment of Meadows, Giuliani and 16 others, including Ellis in the Trump campaign, as well as 11 Republicans who are accused of falsely declaring that Trump won in a document sent to Congress.

On December 14, 2020, a group of Republicans met in Phoenix to sign a document falsely declaring themselves the "duly elected and qualified electors" for the state and claiming that Trump was the victor, and another group composed of activists also signed a similar fake declaration, according to court documents.

Arizona, where President Joe Biden defeated Trump by more than 10,000 votes, was among seven states where Republicans are accused of acting as fake electors.

This should enrage everyone. Trump actually did in fact try to steal the election against the will of the voters. Then he lies and lies and lies and says that Biden stole the election with no evidence. **** trump.

How can anyone associated with these acts of sedition even be outside of a jail cell right now? Especially The Rapist. Almost four years later all of these people go on with their daily lives. It's difficult to fathom how this hasn't been fully prosecuted.
