Do you think our FO has Ace, Tre and VJ ranked 3-5?

The trio is widely considered to be in their own tier and we all obviously have our preferences within the tier. But trying to get inside DA's head is also instructive in predicting how the draft may unfold. I dont see anyone being vocal about not wanting one of these guys, but is there a chance that the FO might have different tiers at the top?
  • The draft insiders have mentioned that Ace may be as low as 9-10 on some exec boards. Personally, I think Ace is the guy DA would love the most. He isnt afraid to take swings on upside, and he loves to put his money down on long wings. Codys abysmal rookie season also leads me to think they are still looking for that tall wing who could grow into being a top player.
  • Tre is a defensively limited wing with good size and high offensive upside. Defensive limitations have obviously not been a thing we shy away from. So I would say its fairly likely that Tre is also a guy they would grab at 5.
  • But VJ is why i ask this question. I personally would run to the podium if he was the guy left and I prefer him over Ace... but is he really DA type of prospect? I hope they would not pass up on him, but I can see arguments why DA would.
  • The other reason I ask this is if the smart draftheads here could identify guys that DA may love that are right outside of the top 5? Putting your own preferences aside, is there someone there you think they may like more than we do?
So what do you all think? Is our FO on board with the concensus 3-5 or do they have someone else included in that tier or maybe someone who isnt in that tier?
 
So what I'm thinking is for instance could our FO have their tiers set up something like this:

Tier 1 - Flagg
Tier 2 - Harper
Tier 3 - Ace and Tre
Tier 4 - VJ and Kas (+ someone?)

???
 
As well as I know the Jazz they will pick someone unexpected like Knueppel or Maluach or Jakucionis...maybe even trade down

No, that is not what the Jazz would do if we are basing what they will do of what they have done.

With Williams/Hendricks the connecting thread is that they were the longest available athletes (in that general draft range) on the board. So maybe they take Maluach, but they wot be taking Kon or Jak.
 
I hope that, too. Otherwise it would mean that we wasted one whole season and a prime year of Markkannen/Collind/Sexton for a role player (at most). Maybe I am too optimistic, but I expect even to trade up for Ace or even Harper, since we have many trade assets.

Also they had confirmed interest on Bilal and speculatations about Anthony Black.

Maybe they've learned from their mistakes?
