Ok my top 15 picks are as follows (minus Flagg and Harper of course)

Tre Johnson
VJ Edgecombe
Egor Demin
Kon Knueppel
CMB
Ace Bailey
Carter Bryant
Kasparas Jakucionis
Rasheer Fleming
Noa Essengue
Jeremiah Fears
Noah Penda
Nolan Traore
Kaman Malauch
Joan Beringer

HONORABLE MENTIONS

Cedric Coward
Thomas Sober
Drake Powell
Hugo Gonzales
Adou Thiero

I specifically mentioned their similarities. VJ has the highest two-way potential of all the top prospects simply because he has high BBIQ, is a willing defender and possesses said athleticism. He is far from a lockdown defender but the only one of all top 5 guys I could see becoming one.

I think you undersell him a bit. He did play quite a lot of half court screen plays as the handler and even if he aint an iso guy like Ant he can beat defenders clean if they turn their hips the slightest.

Tre is my top guy of the trio but VJ and Ace are both right there with him.
I just don’t see him as a potential allstar.

The fact that you have Ace 6th minus the top two picks is insane to me.

VJ has no all-star potential, but neither do most guys in this range.

VJ will probably be Jalen Suggs.

VJ lacks the size and shooting to be special given his total lack of shot creation, but is very smart and apparently has strong intangibles and is athletic and is good enough at shooting and big enough to be a starting SG in the NBA. Can he be much more than an average starting SG? Meh.

What's interesting is Herro has an awful wingspan (6'3") and Tre has a 6'10" wingspan (which is the same as Clarkson - but Tre is 3" taller than JC). I would bet Tre will be there at 5 though and I'm not complaining. I like how Tre can shoot from anywhere:

If you like numbers here's a really, really good article on Tre that makes me hope he's there at 5: https://www.noceilingsnba.com/p/tre-johnson-shooting-up-draft-boards

Herro averaged 24/5/5 on 47/37/88
If you get that from Tre, it's a home run pick

I'm 6'4" in socks. When I played high school basketball, no one referred to me as being 6'6". Tre is 6'4", not 6'6".
Same story every year... either we use in shoes or w/o shoes metrics but we dont switch that from prospect to prospect.

Ace at 6'10 has twice as much air in that number than Tre has when he is referred to as 6'6.

Official combine w/o shoes heights are 6'7.50 and 6'4.75.

I am of the opinion that we get the measurements without shoes to make sure players arent inflating their height with inserts.

However, the game is played in shoes and it is not unheard of to add 3/4" when playing. Some shoes can add even more. That is why I don't quibble with Tre being listed at 6'6". That is a playing height rounded up of 1/2" or less.

With Acethe best he could claim would be 6'9" and that goes with the same round up.

That is such a ridiculous statement. How can you say he has zero all-star potential? That’s just egregious.

Does Tre Johnson's finishing concern anyone?

Only 20% of his total attempts came at the rim, 16.7% of his half court attempts were at the rim, and he only scored at a 46% clip on those attempts

I will admit it is disconcerting but I believe he has the attitude to get better. If he was a finished product yes but I think he is willing to work.

Tre is longer than his comps (Beal, Booker)
Ace is smaller (KD, Rashard Lewis)

VJs comps seem like they depend on if you see him as a primary ball handler.
