Luck the Fakers man.

The conspiracy theories on Luka and the draft are on meth now. If ever there was a conspiracy theory that was true... this is what it would look like.

Celtics went for 6 but don't own their own building. I don't know enough to know how much of a factor that was. Players do move value for franchises... it added value I am sure. Their 5-7 year projections of revenue and such would be bolstered quite a bit from having a player hitting his prime vs AD.

Let's just remove the lotto result from the equation and call that a total just stroke of luck. Let's just say Nico and Rob are homies cuz they are. Let's say these convos have been happening for a while... cuz they have. Let's just say those two may have been promised they'd be taken care of in some form or fashion and they colluded together. The trade being kept quiet so Nico could blindside his dumbass owner (who does not know ball). When Nico gets canned I want a full audit on his financials for like 10 years.

NGL... I really think there could be something here. Just remove the lotto... that was the random occurrence. The rest makes sense and is plausible.

The whole "we gotta keep this quiet" part is the part that makes me raise my eyebrow. If it got out the owner would have enough bluster come to his door that he would never sign off. I think that guy is a dumbass and Nico may have pulled one over on him.

It passes the smell test so I think this conspiracy is confirmed.

You all know my stance. I think the entire thing was rigged, lottery included. I think it's why Nico wasn't fired, I think it's why the entire thing was kept secret, I think it's why the entire thing happened the same month there were national news stories about the NBA's sinking ratings. I think LeBron knows and has been hinting at it.

3 for free (excluding Ryan's money)? Still have Lauri? Seems like a no-brainer. And even more tempting, this could be a smokescreen to pressure the Spurs for Lauri for the second pick.
