Collin Sexton traded to Charlotte Hornets for Jusuf Nurkic

CBS sports says we are the ones getting the pick
this would actually make any sense. In which case, maybe Shams should do any proofing at all.

Edit: their citation is to Sham’s tweet which still says it’s the Jazz sending a pick. And it looks like Larsen confirmed this earlier.

Nepo baby not starting his tenure the best way possible... this is a horrendous trade if confirmed. I cannot believe there was noone else in the league valuing Sexton higher than this.... WOW!
We don't need any higher evaluation. This trade so bad we might as well holding onto Sexton since he's an expiring. Why the need to give up a second round pick for no reason???

This is true but doesn't mean that you have to make a horrible trade.
Not what we got what is the true value.

Listen and learn, Sexton obviously only repaired his value in the sight of the Utah Jazz. Had they been able to get anything for him he would’ve been traded at the deadline I suspect. The jazz absolutely had to get him out of Utah so they can look like they are trying to win while they lose. Now the Jazz can focus on getting rid of Collins. This opens up room for WCJ.

Wish we could’ve got something for him but overall I’m happy he’s not here.

Don’t look at this as Jusuf Nurkic for Sexton and a 2nd 6 years from now. Look at it as a chance at a possible top pick for Sexton.
We really salary dumped an expiring salary for another expiring salary and we had to send out a second-round pick for the worse player? This is horrendous.

Wow, I hate this so ****ing much. If we’re prepping for a Kessler trade, then just use Walker’s spot as an open slot for auditioning Oscar and (other) G-League guys.
