Heh, that is kind of a misleading title to that story though. Bam was bashing his own team, not the Jazz. "Can't even beat a team that's trying to lose".![]()
Bam Adebayo called out the Jazz for their egregious tanking
After the Miami Heat lost to the Utah Jazz on Monday evening, Heat big man Bam Adebayo had some comments to share about the disappointing performance.ftw.usatoday.com
Cry about it
The league has never in their history punished a team for playing its starters in a game but not giving them 30+ minutes."The league doesn’t consider that tanking"
LOL

The NBA's tanking crisis — and why Adam Silver can’t ignore it
Utah Jazz coach Will Hardy has pulled three of his best players in consecutive games. The team's 2026 first-round draft pick is top-eight protected.www.usatoday.com
Why are these people coming out of the woodwork now? Tanking has been an issue for a long time? But now it's the biggest problem ever?
I just can't imagine how stupid one would have to be to think that shutting down starters entirely isn't crossing a line, but shutting them down for roughly 12 min. below their season average is.
It really is as worse at is has ever been. It's an issue. Don't take it personally![]()

These same morons said nothing when the Warriors tanked to keep their top 7 protected pick away from the Jazz so they could add Harrison Barnes to the core of Steph and Klay (And Draymond? I can't remember)
You're misrepresenting what happened. The Jazz were going to easily win the Magic game. Then they lost it on purpose by sitting the starters, playing joke lineups and not using any timeouts in crunch time. Let's not pretend this isn't clear as day.
Hardy would NEVER have made the above decisions if he wasn't trying to lose. Period. You know it, I know it, the League office knows it, millions of fans know it.
Again: in-game shenanigans like that cross a line that's obviously not defined in black and white, but it exists and people recognize it. Even if you've decided not to care about it, I'd expect you to be intellectually honest.
