Can we hold off the cornations of favors until we beat the lakers

His time is now, his time is now. With Big Al, this team is destined for continued mediocrity. Let the youngsters play. PS: Favors plays D, a foreign concept to BA, and Sap.

And potentially ruin Al's trade value this summer?

The best thing this team could do (but won't) is to start Favors/Jefferson and bring Millsap off the bench. I don't know.. I just know we've got a lot of depth upfront. Easily the best PF/C depth in the league.

I agree. A second unit of Hawyard and Millsap would be nasty, almost unfair to other teams to have those two abusing backups for half their total minutes. The problem we have, though, is Big Al makes his living on the low block. I'm afraid of him getting in Favors' way when Derrick is trying to score on a P&R The one to tie the game was vintage Stock/Malone. I'm excited to see the P&R return to the Jazz offense.

Whether because of corbins game plan or als tunnel vision, I think playing favors next to al would result in favors getting very few offensive possessions

OMG hell just froze over
You mean you making a good point or Mantooth giving you a compliment?

And did everyone else miss the fact that you said you've been on the trade favors bandwagon 10 games into the season? I hope you meant Trade Jefferson. Otherwise hell is going to get pretty hot for you again. :o

There is no point in whining about something we KNOW won't happen. Favors can hit 50 points and 30 rebounds against the Lakers, but he'll go back to 15 mpg once Jefferson comes back. There's no changing that, and nothing to do about it. I hope the Jazz miss the playoffs. I cannot think of worse scenario than the Jazz making the playoffs, and thinking they're good enough. I expect Jefferson or Millsap to be traded in the off-season.
