Wisconsin has moved from "leans Dem" to "toss up". The latest national polls show Romney with a 3% lead.

While it appears that Obama has the lead in individual states that lead is drastically narowing and is within margin of error in some polls. It appears that N.C and Florida are going back and forth on who has the lead. Wisconsin and Iowa have narrowed...

Interesting race and I think that if Obama does not step it up and get serious he will lose this.

The last week or so has seen a shift in Romneys favor. So I still maintain that Obama could lose this. I think the right is more animated then the left for this election. Recent polls also show Romney ahead in women and independents.

It is by no means over but this has turned into a real race. Interesting (to me at least)

@KOC, I know you can be better than stuff like that.

The fact it's close means the Republicans have put up an awful candidate. Obama hasn't done much and the economy is stagnant. Think George H.W. Bush. But that year the Dems nominated a candidate worth a damn.

I remember in 04 thinking Bush the 2nd had no chance. I mean, everyone could see what an idiot he was and the he started meaningless wars, who would really vote for him? And the the Dems nominated John Kerry, and the wheels fell off even though it was a race decided by one state.

The sad thing is that only candidates that are not worth a damn are the only ones given the money and support to get elected. I wonder why that is? (rhetorical)

Hi Ron Paul supporters!

I know I could give examples of GOPer saying absurd things. But, it doesn't seem to matter no matter what the facts are it seems that the republicans have the whole sheep thing down. There are things Obama has done that I'm not a fan of. But, for the most part when he opens his mouth I don't have to be afraid of what might come out.

This video seems pretty accurate to me https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMvwlyccVOc

I have come to feel like the outcome of the presidential election will impact this country about as much as the winner of the NBA title. It's fun to get behind a candidate and argue with the fans of the other candidate and act as though one person will save the country while the other will destroy it, but in the end it seems all presidents do what they're told after they get the big boy talk, aka "security briefing."

You mean like visiting all 57 states?

Ok you went with way different arguements there KOC. Do right wingers say stupid things? Sure they do. They do it all the time. Does that mean that all they say is stupid? No. The left do the same thing. I mean for proof of that go no further than the V.P. The king of the gaffe. Does that mean all the left (and more to the point Biden) only make gaffes? That is as untrue as saying it about the right.

Both sides have their positives and negatives. You might want to accept that.

That is what I was alluding to in my comment about only candidates that are not worth a damn are nominated...

You are just depressed after years with an incompetent uninspiring president. Just a change in economic outlook and policies could make a big difference.
