There is a history and a connection With Philly. Take our insider in pkm saying there is a deal with the tankers and the previous mentioned trade actually makes since to all teams involved.
Yes, KOC use to work for the Sixers and has good friendships with people in the organization. He trust them to keep all their talks on the down low.
No one has yet flinched that a deal is still a go with GST. Having said that, I'm still hearing there are still talks with Philly, HOU, and POR are ongoing. New story (not a great source) I've heard is talks with SAC (comes from Cuz, lol).

I've always thought that was a logical move for SAC.
The last thing they need is another rookie in their team. They need a glue-guy, veteran presence who can really play. Who's also young enough and can grow with the team. That's the missing piece there. There's only so much rebuilding you can do.
And I really think Paul Millsap could be that guy that they need. They can play him alongside Cousins no problem whatsoever. Great pairing. One has length and post moves. One has quickness and a mid-range shot. I can also see him growing with that young team and bring in great character for their young guys.
I guess there are others who could fill that veteran role but Millsap would have to be a great candidate IMO.
I would be doing cartwheels if this turned out to be true. But even if it's true today, there's nearly 3 weeks in which it could be derailed. I'd still also like someone to explain to me how GS could actually do that trade financially.

I was thinking about Sacramento as a possible reading partner the last few days. I was happy to hear that PKM had a "source" that says something is being talked about.
Sacramento needs a SF. If Barnes and MKG are gone then anyone they pick up would be incredibly redundant for that team.
I agree with others that Millsap could really help that team. Is KOC twisted enough to do that to Millsap?

Would def need to be millsap and gsw pick. I do nt know if we need to get up that high. We be choosing from Drummond Robinson or barnes. I'd rather give up less and get to 7-10 to get a pg. I am only interested in beal, mkg or lillard in the lottery.
I do like Millsap but I don't think we owe him anything. He signed an offer sheet with Portland - which we matched. So he got the most bang for his bucks there.
If Sac is the best fit as our trading partner - get that 5th pick and trade down. Why not?

I would add Robinson to that list (for 1-10) especially if we were trading Millsap.
From 11-14 I also like Rivers and Moultrie.
