The best part is that both names can be easily turned into insults. Enes "Kant" do it. Dirk "Nowinski" (before he won a championship).

I would rather have a guy who is less productive on the court (Kanter) than a guy who is more productive but can't find the answer to keeping his big *** teeth tucked in his lips (Dirk). I think the answer is CLOSE YOUR MOUTH WHEN YOU PLAY BASKETBALL! All I see when I watch dirk play is horse teeth and sneakers. I don't care about compairing their talent because that's a far stretch. What isn't a far stretch is a thread compairing the size of Dirks teeth to the size of the ice burg that sunk the titanic. Dirk is also a dirty fouling player, but can you blame him? If I had teeth the size and weight of a bumper off of a vintage studebaker, I would have a lot of built up aggresion too! Ill take an arthritic Jarron Collins before I would take a Dirk BigTeethski in his prime! As long as I don't have to walk into Es arena and see dirks big teeth chipping the wood on the court, then I'm good!
 
Kanter had some serious flashes last year against some of the best big men in the game.
People can write him off all they want..... but if he plays like that against any big in the league next year, expect a lot of double teams and Hayward and the Williams brothers for mucho 3's!

Man, watching the video, if Kanter could devleop a hook shot, keep the ball high, he could easily be a 15 and 12 guy. He has such a good shooting form, he could become a Memo that plays defense....Man, here's to hoping he works hard to develop himself. Could you imagine a Favors/Kanter (playing like Memo) on offense, with those two big bodies on defense? Yowzers.
 
Kanter will never become the scorer Nowitzki is, but Kanter is a better rebounder in my opinion. Like Kanter Nowitzki had a sub-par rookie season.

I am getting a little tired of people limiting Kanter offensively. Question: How was Shaq's lateral quickness? And how good was his elevation? Now shaq has about 3 inches on Kanter, but their play style is eerily similar, tough immovable forces around the basket.

Why not? I'm not saying that Kanter will be Shaq, he's hall of fame, but what I am saying is that there is room in the NBA for a player of that style to go really far.

Edit: oh and Kanter has a better mid range shot and better free throw shooting.
