9/11/2010 Burn a Koran Day

@ MARCUS

hmmmm... you don't see the difference between burning what Muslims believe to be God's perfect word and sullying a symbol of a nation?

Either you have no respect for others beliefs
or
you think that the USA is divine
or
both

anyway you slice it, you've got your head up your ***

I do think that the creation of the US was divinely inspired. So what? Are you going to call me a dumb *** for believing thusly now?

Beyond that, it is all about respect. When I see them trampling the flag it offends me but you don't see me asking for the death of Muslims. In fact, it bothers me much more than if they were to burn a Bible. There is a double standard here. They have every right to insult my country, my religion, my beliefs, etc. But when they turn right around and tell that they will kill me if I insult Allah, Muhammed or their precious Koran, that's where they lose me.

He doesn't know the difference between Shi'a and Sunni Islam... like most of the jackass americans that spout similar ****.

I know the difference. It was one of the largest concerns during the Iraq war in getting the different factions to come together and not have the *****s retaliate against the Sunnis, of which Sadam was a member. That said, when push comes to shove they would ban together to fight a common foe that has insulted their religion or beliefs.

When Turkey's aid flotilla was blocked and turned away who was it that offered assitance in running the blockade if they were to try again?

That said, this pretty much sums up your posting style. At least I hope your not this way in real life.

I struggled with it. Then I went with "Books of Mormon" and thought that some bigger smart *** than myself would question which was proper. I was right.
You were wrong, actually. "Copies of the Book of Mormon" is what church leaders prefer (at least that was the case a few years back).

So, basically, instead of responding to the substance of the posts, you post some meaningless image.

Not surprised.

I was responding to NAOS's posting style. He can make a point without being an ***. I'm starting to see some strong similarities between hs posting style and Sharpshooter's.

To be honest, I thought his response was entirely appropriate to your "all muslims are the same" style argument. If there was one poster who could have been described as a "total dickwad" you'd have to look in the mirror to find him.

Where did I say all Muslims are the same?!?

Where did I say all Muslims are the same?!?

You've generalized extensively about the nature of the Islamic world's hypocrisy and made statements about the nature of Iran's influence in the world that are only plausible if you have no knowledge of a pretty basic theological divide.

Your ignorance has been on display pretty thoroughly.

What?! What possible evidence is there for this claim?

Is this the only country that you believe is divinely inspired?

How can you dispute it? This is one nation, under God. It even says so in the Pledge of Allegiance.

What possible evidence is there that god exists yet millions believe? Beyond that, is there really any answer that I could give here that would even remotely blunt your incredulity?

Is this the only country that you believe is divinely inspired?

Not at all.

I would think you were marginally less crazy if there were some actual source behind the belief. For example, I don't believe in the Pope per se but if you did and you showed me where the Pope said the U.S. is divinely inspired I wouldn't think you were crazy; I'd just think you were wrong.

So which is it: crazy (i.e. no real basis at all) or wrong (i.e. no basis that you and I can personally agree upon)?

Not at all.

Well then, what other countries do you believe are divinely inspired?

Kicky are you atheist? I am sure you have said before but I cant remember. I just know you're a former LDS member.
