I hate the tactic, but I do love that it was used against Shannahan.
On a side note, the 9ers would have won the game if one of about 50 breaks would have went their way. I never saw a team more cursed in my life that still had a chance to win the game.

Wow. The 49ers might be the worst team in the league. Good bye Smith and Singletary. How the hell do you get worse with all of that talent? Amazing achievement. I'm probably just gonna root for the Colts as my main team now. I'm so done with this ****.

Talent is not the issue. Crabtree, Morgan, D. Walker, Westbrook...3 1st round draft picks (and 2 2nd round picks) on the O-line. The defense is full of solid, veteran defenders. That should be enough for at least an average rated NFL offense and the best in a sorry division. The problem is in play-calling and coaching. Singletary is a good motivational coach, but his team doesn't have the least bit of discipline or mental toughness. The first bump in the road in a road game and they fold like a tent. It doesn't help that the play-calling is inept. It's pathetic. Going into this season I was confident in Singletary because it looked like he was righting the ship, but he's somehow amazingly made this team worse than the 8-8 team last season.

Just because they are high draft picks doesn't mean they have plenty of talent. Crabtree and Morgan have proven nothing. Westbrook is washed up. They're just not a very good team.

They're young and undisciplined. That doesn't equate to no talent. You can see the potential from time-to-time. It's there, it's just not consistent to say the least. That comes down to coaching. I've been a 49ers practically my whole life and almost never miss a game (sadly). I think I would know what the problems are better than someone who just sees a box score or highlights.
