Do me a favor, post your favorite Tupac song and list the lyrics of said song...please.

Rapping with heartfelt emotion and meaning >> having superior cadence, flow, and wordplay.

You can say Biggie had better cadence (which is debatable)-- and you'd have many support your opinion.

You can say that Tech N9ne and Busta Rhymes have superior verbal-delivery technique, in terms of speed and wordplay, than Tupac, and I suppose that could be argued as well.

But to suggest that Tupac is a garbage musician is simply melodramatic trolling, and intellectual-rubbish. Tupac has regularly been appraised (in academia, and peer-reviewed journals) as a Folk-Hero, and an icon for thousands of African-Americans.

Tupac, of all rappers, had the best ability to resonate with his audience-- which is why we have generation after generation of Tupac fans. He's a true poet, and that is what he conveyed with his rap. Some say that his delivery lacks in technicality, but to me thats what makes it most beautiful.

Listening to Thugz Mansion (that also features Nas, an easy top 5, probably top 3 rapper) is the perfect example of this. Nas might have the more challenging delivery, but Tupac has the more memorable verse. Why? Because his verse resonates with the audience more. Plain and simple. His lyrics transcend music.

And that, precisely, is why Tupac is an all-time great. Tupac = Hip Hop, right down to its core.
