Following potential 2014 draftees

Bolded the ones I agree with.

Dang you don't agree with Adams or Early?

Only ones I was kind of doubting myself on was Grant and Burton.

Actually like Young as a pro. Think he can do nearly the same thing he did in Florida in the NBA as a 4th big and be great at it. Would be a completely unsexy pick, but would produce.

Dudes in the 20's I would take over either Harrison:

Lavine
McDaniels
PJ Hairston
Jerami Grant
Adrein Payne
Rodney Hood
Jordan Adams
James Young
Cleanthony Early
Elfrid Payton
Deonte Burton
Glenn Robinson
Patric Young

*Didn't name players in DX mockdraft that went 1-19*

So... DX lists 13 guys going in the 20's? Are you sure?

I was saying this is who I would pick in the 20's, then denoted at the bottom I didn't include any player mocked to go before 20. That is a list of all players not expected to go in the teens who I would take over the Harrisons.

*Is what. Anger? Lmao you think I am getting butt hurt over some old dude who can't play basketball so he criticizes Aaron Harrison for shooting 36%. Laughable tbh.

I mean, I would consider myself old, but I suppose I am compared to you. Again, I'm not sure what my playing skills have to do with anything. If you think being good at basketball means you can evaluate players, then this really is a worthless discussion.

I'm not criticizing Harrison for shooting 36%, I'm merely explaining the difference between average, above average, and elite. You do realize the difference, right? I would hope so.

A-Train's discussion/argument strategy:

1. Make a statement (Harrison is an elite shooter)
2. When someone ask you if 36% shooting is elite, say no 40% is.
3. Insult whoever pointed this out. Either use a past instance he/she was wrong or say they suck at basketball.

Take out Andrew Harrison. Nobody said he was a good shooter.

You do realize that Cy said "the Harrisons and Young", therefore implying both of the Harrisons, not one. Reading comprehension buddy.

Anyways, we'll do it your way. 8/19, for about 42%. Again, hard to argue with those results…42% shooting isn't that great, especially when you consider Kentucky shot 50% as a team tonight.

I like Adams, but I would take the potential of the Harrison kid over him. I could easily go either way. Early doesn't do much for me. He's old (I think), and he had a really good tournament, but I just don't see much of a future with him. I suppose he could be like DeMarre Carrol, which is valuable. I could change my mind on him.

Don't like Young at all. Hasn't improved in 4 years, IMO.

You idiot. Take out Andrew because he isn't in the discussion. Why was he in the convo anyway.

Yeah, but 36% is close to 40%…just like late lottery is close to the 20's, so it's like the same thing.

This is like Franklin's argument on Corbin when he said we were basically a .500 team.

Yup, they nearly beat a much more talented team that had a significant size advantage.

Would do that strategy 10/10 of times. It was dumb on the last possession though. Can't take that risk that late in the game only up 2.

Since A-Train negged me on this, I would like to know what his strategy to defending UK would be?

Press the sharpshooting wings of UK?

UK wings aren't awful shooters, but they aren't elite or even upper tier shooters. They are streaky shooters who have found a hot streak, but still teams are willing to test it. The strategy worked for 39:54 seconds, then a mental lapsed happened in their defense when they should have been chasing everything off of the 3pt line. It was a bad final defensive strategy (probably an individual lapse or something the coach forget to emphasize) but the strategy was effective for every other portion of the game.

Again, Cyrone had him in the original statement. You clearly failed to point it out because, 1) you didn't notice, or 2) you didn't think it mattered.

Again, I did take him out of the equation. It came out to 42% shooting between the Harrison with balls and Young, with Young boosting that percentage up. I fail to see anything special about that number, especially when you consider that Kentucky shot 50% as a team…so yes, that strategy actually did work out for Wisconsin. They didn't get the result you wanted, but the Harrisons and Young shooting jumpers was certainly preferable to the rest of the team getting the ball in the paint.

Fact of the matter is. Cy is stupid. Deer Hantler is stupid.

I'm really enjoying how you're calling us stupid when you can't even figure out how to write a sentence.

:)

Furthermore, you're the one personally insulting us, while neither of us (maybe Cy has, but I don't think I have) has personally insulted you yet. This is an important step in learning how to discuss things like an adult…don't take it personally when people disagree with you. It won't be the last time somebody disagrees with you.

Nah, I originally asked anyone to name an elite skill either Harrison possessed. He said Aaron's shooting, but then later admitted that his % were in fact not elite when I pointed the #'s out, but without actually admitting it and just insulting Otto Porter.

Well Otto Porter does suck. I know this because it's been one year.

Since you were wrong on him, you clearly know nothing about basketball. If you knew anything about basketball, you would be able to evaluate properly. You probably don't know anything because you're an old man who can't play ball.

Idiot.
