Haha... He's got size. I'd put size over energy and drawing ability. (TWSS) Murphy is supposed to be able to shoot, but he hasn't shown it yet. I think the Booker signing makes Evans completely expendable and I'd rather take on a younger player with arguably more potential.
TB is a solid player. People check his ESPN profile and see PF, 6'8", and that's it for them but dude can play.
This signing ads real depth to the FC rotation. It also may be about moving a big.
Wat?
There is a player who can?
And he's going to be a backup for the Jazz?

Haha! Cuz Evans is a huge difference maker? Evans isn't making any GM a genius...
Mongoose just moved into the top 10 worst posters on JF for the Evans hate.
I like Trevor Booker. I just don't see the point in having Jeremy Evans or anyone else even.
Favors, Kanter, Booker, Gobert and Novak is enough big guys.
They will need minutes for everyone.

If we sign Aminu next, then I'll be totally satisfied.
Uh huhMeh.
Yupwtf.
Perplexed me tooI don't get this at all. I know we need bench guys but why at that rate and for two years when re-signing Burks and Kanter are on the table next summer.
We need to make very calculated risks from here on out. If Exum and Roscoe pan out it's even more important to stay flexible over the next 4 years.
This signing could very well hurt that flexibility next summer.

By itself it isn't really anything to worry about. But when you add this to the Hayward deal suddenly that is 6-7 million to much instead of 1-2. Goes along with a previous point I made about unhealthy deals pilling up.
