Jazz Just Signed Trevor Booker According To Woj

Rather have Blatche, Humphries or Blair at that price, but Booker is a good energy guy. I guess that means Malcolm Thomas isn't making the final roster.

Haha... He's got size. I'd put size over energy and drawing ability. (TWSS) Murphy is supposed to be able to shoot, but he hasn't shown it yet. I think the Booker signing makes Evans completely expendable and I'd rather take on a younger player with arguably more potential.

Murphy isn't a lights out shooter. If he was, he would be showing it. Instead, he puts the ball on the floor and bad things usually happen. Only thing that has been a positive about Murphy is that he has made some good swing passes.

Murphy is extremely ****ty, dude

Haha! Cuz Evans is a huge difference maker? Evans isn't making any GM a genius...

Uh yeah he has. Most 2nd round picks don't last in the NBA, Evans has (he wasn't even on a lot of team's radar).

That is a point to KOC's track record of making good picks.

I like the signal this sends about our intention TO WIN. We aren't using our cap-space as rental space. We're filling out the roster and directing all efforts toward winning.

If we sign Aminu next, then I'll be totally satisfied.

I like Trevor Booker. I just don't see the point in having Jeremy Evans or anyone else even.

Favors, Kanter, Booker, Gobert and Novak is enough big guys.

They will need minutes for everyone.

Jazz have a lot of *******. Good to bring in some non-******* to provide some muscle.

Agreed, the next signing should be a physical 3, then round out the roster with the non-guaranteed contracts.

Uh huh
Yup
I don't get this at all. I know we need bench guys but why at that rate and for two years when re-signing Burks and Kanter are on the table next summer.
Perplexed me too

We need to make very calculated risks from here on out. If Exum and Roscoe pan out it's even more important to stay flexible over the next 4 years.

Agreed
This signing could very well hurt that flexibility next summer.

By itself it isn't really anything to worry about. But when you add this to the Hayward deal suddenly that is 6-7 million to much instead of 1-2. Goes along with a previous point I made about unhealthy deals pilling up.
