So what is the problem with the notion of a being(s) of Great intellect, Omnipotent power Deity resemblance (lets call it GOD for short) to type in program of sort. A set of basic rules - like: "Let speed of light be 300k km/s in vacuum", "let E=mc2", "let be quarks and leptons and let them have spin", etc, etc. Sets up the program and press "GO". Not 6 thousands year ago, but 13.something billion. And funny thing happens, one of the elements - carbon (C) has really funny properties that can hook up with other elements and trap energy and in just the right circumstances it can grow in those funny long chains called proteins that in turn can clump in those self replicating molecules. Is it possible? Sure, philosophically speaking I can see that happening. Thats why I am in the agnostic camp.
But I doubt it....

Yes, that is called panspermia theory. Stein, of course, is being intellectually dishonest in his voiceover in this clip, and, in fact, was dishonest during the actual filming, as well. Dawkins talks about the film, and this scene in particular, here:

Start talking to Him and see what happens.
Everyone will have an informed chance to accept or deny God.
So then what is the incentive to believe in Him now? Honest question.
Nothing that can be proven. But to me that's the point. Now that we are here and our memories of Him are gone and its unprovable what will we do?
It's all a tests. Those that didn't get the chance to embrace him here will get their chance on the other side.
So once I die I will be given the opportunity to convert and enjoy full privileges?
Seriously, I'm not getting it.
Besides that, once I die I will be faced with a dilemma similar to that facing non-Muslims in ISIS controlled territory. Embrace faith or suffer an unspeakable pain.
God is not gaining any credibility with me here.
