I think it's the right decision to resign. The black literally has no chance to win the game after that final position. I've lost many games too in the past because of similar end games to this. The Rooks' positions and the pawn structure are so crucial after the mid game so they should always be examined from the opening of the game. It's one of the first things I control especially when I'm trading the pieces.I think I'm going to go ahead and resign.

I can play slow or fast, white or black, and maybe good but more likely bad. I'll play e4 as white and Nf6 or c5 as black so you can even plan your opening accordingly!
