There is an 80 year old man out there that can hit 500 underhand free throws in row. Probs could have got him with a late second rounder.
I played basketball for the first time in about 2 years yesterday.

Had my buddy from work at the gym with me and we were rebounding each others shots.

We were taking turns shooting free throws and doing sets of 10 and seeing how many we could make out of 10. I had a couple of 10-10 sets. I'm nearly 50 years old and literally hadn't taken a single shot in years. They call em free throws for a reason

Still good that he went 9-10 though.

I still had my great handles and was drilling 3's at a pretty good efficiency too. Had no jumping ability though and couldn't finish layups for ****. My baby hook was broken (used to be good with both hands on those) and my left knee got sore pretty quick

I'm 6 foot 3 and I tried to touch the rim and barely touched the very bottom of the rim with a fingertip. I jumped with all I had. Came down awkwardly and almost fell lol.

Getting old sucks

I believe more than ever that the Jazz are in desperate need for a good starting PG who can run the offense and shoot. Dunn is all right as a back up, and Keyonte is probably a couple of years from being a solid starting PG.

Yeah man… still play a few times a week but I shoot a ton of threes and most my drives are to kick out now. Some days I still have every thing some days nothing. I lost 10ish lbs and got some juice back in my legs but man I miss the days when I could jump.

I did however have a run at a new gym and was really cooking and a guy asked me where I played (as in what college did I play at) I laughed but that was a good day.

- Yeah... all the "magic" is gone. Half the rotation is thinking about getting traded because dangling players is all we heard about even in the middle of the win streak. Ainge or Hardy never came out and said that we're going for the playoffs and that they believe in this group. What we're seeing now is not surprising in the least. The mental state of the team was particularly apparent in how they played defense.

- Walker is 6-17 (35%) from the stripe in his last five games. That takes some doing. I'm not joking when I say that he might have made more free throws with his eyes closed. 6-17 is an incomprehensible level of suckitude.

- Remember when Collins looked like a different player? Getting double-doubles, making 3's, succesfully bodying up other bigs and running back after he misses a shot? Remember those far off days of 2-3 weeks ago?

- Sexton never quit. Props.

- I say again... Lauri is not right. He obviously can't take any hard bumps on D with the right side of his body. His shoulder is probably in much worse shape than we've been led to believe. Not sure why the beat writers don't ask him about it.

- BTW, someone recently wrote that Lauri should be trying to draw more fouls... what we just saw was an example of what happens when he does just that. Instead of going hard to the rack, he resorted to slow pivots in the paint, double-clutching, trying to avoid defenders, putting up flat-footed floaters and screaming "HEY!!!" when he inevitably didn't get the call. I mean yeah, he gets mugged in there. But perceptions matter in the NBA and Lauri is not the type of star that gets those calls on the road. He makes it SO obvious when he's fishing for fouls.

- Some things don't need to be that deep. Maybe Keyonte is simply a very bad shooter in the NBA. If that's the case, we have a problem.

That and turn half the roster over with players that can play defense.

Yeah, Lauri is grabbing/holding his arm every game at some point. I suspect mild strain. I actually overextended my wrist few weeks ago, and even it is much better now, certain bending motions makes the muscles almost cramp/hurt, and the elbow is stiff when working a bit more. If it was serious, I bet he would rest, considering he had elbow injury in the past taking him sidelined for few months.

I don't think it's his elbow. I mean he's been playing with his shoulder heavily taped for half a season now.

Idk what it is, but he has had that elbow taped in several seasons at some point. I feel it's a manageable issue, and that hard hit a week or two ago where his wrist squished into a defenders ribs might be another thing. So, if there is some sort of longer term nagging issues that allows to play with the shoulder, the wrist hit just might eff up the arm more. He shot white well with his elbow taped, and went for high alley oops as well finishing them.

Its not everyday you score 124 points on 92 shots on the road and come up with a 30+ point loss.... however if a team scores 33 more points from 3 point range while taking just 10 more attempts than you do.. that can happen.

Pels definitely deserved to win this one by a clear margin. They were in perfect sync offensively and played great team ball and any plans we had in preventing Zion from getting to the rim backfired when Zion kept kicking it out and whoever caught the ball made the shot. Zion had 11 assists, and 7 of those were to a made 3 point shot. Thats 29 assist points for him.

Rebounding and passing were the biggest difference. We havent lately lost many games on those two numbers, but this time we got destroyed on both: 57-38 on boards and 41-27 on assists. They found and took the easy dunks and corner 3s, and JV/Nance fought hard for every loose ball.

Also a note to Hardy: Maybe next time when a 3P sharpshooter like McCollum gets hot right from the start, you dont want to give him a season high in attempts. McCollum was 3/3 in the first quarter and we still gave him 10 more shots in the remaining 3 quarters.

Maybe players already know who’s gonna get traded. Deadline is near
I think the trade deadline talk is clearly in the mind of some of our guys. Hardy has alluded to it in his last 2 post game pressers. Even mentioned that he wouldn't "trade" this team for any other a few nights ago.

Team camaraderie definitely seems off the past few games.

Sexton, Clarkson, KO and Collins. All have recently flown around in the rumor mill, and some of the rumors are the type "we are gauging value" or "we are having discussions"... indicating that we are involved and its not just outside hype.

Albeit Collins is the exception. With him we are more like standing in some street corner asking anyone who passes by whether they might need him.
