The Rest of the Season Plan - Kind Of

If we can get 4-5 picks from OKC for Lauri, just do it. Lauri is my favorite player right now but stop with this garbage 'trade most of our lineup' mid-season every year. Let's get it down in the off-season so we can go for Cooper Flag properly

If you have a SG who can pass, he will just play PG like how we are currently developing keyonte. If we have a PF who can shoot, he will just play the small ball center or anywhere from 2 to 4 depending on the lineup like how we are using Collins.

Locke did bring up a good point that Detroit asking to trade for him signaled they were going to pay him a lot in the off-season potentially.

yeah that's pretty much the only reason i can understand. I'll be very curious to see what a lot means.

I'd be curious to know what kind of discussions the FO have or haven't had with Lauri and whether they've presented him any kind of specific plan for when they'd hope to be playoff competitive

Build up Keyonte's confidence further, and try get one great poster dunk from Lauri, preferably and probably on some euro. He has a reputation of making euros pay.

Which interview? He was on the 1st Warriors game's broadcast, but said nothing like that.
 
I hope we give major minutes to all of our rookies so they can develop. And I hope to see a 10-day contract: Bazley dropped 38 his last game.

If the Jazz sign a 10-day guy I would assume it wouldnt be someone who played the same position/archetype as Hendricks.
 
Why are the Jazz keeping Lewis and OPJ? It seems they have no use for either. Why isn't Ainge waiving both as they both are on expiring contracts?
 
I’m probably going to be ratioed for daring to question the wisdom of God Hardy, but why isn’t Brice playing? This season is going down hard in flames and 2/3 of our rookies look like busts. Hendo looks lost (would like to see him get more pt. Throw him in the deep end to figure things out) and Brice is ded apparently. Why? If Brice can’t at least challenge someone like THT for some playing time, then what are we doing?

Cause Ryan would have to pay someone to fill the empty roster spots.

I agree. We need to play Brice. Give him a lot of minutes.

Hardy said "Brice needs to worry about everything but scoring". So either Hardy thinks he is bad at all the other things or he plays the wrong way.

If its the latter, giving him unearned minutes isnt gonna fix that and sends the wrong message. Hardy is all about playing the right way.
