While I aagree with several of your points the AK one is WAY off. What makes you think he'd be ok coming in as the 8th or 9th guy on the roster? We have several examples of veterans not accepting diminishing roles in Bell and Watson. We also know that AK has a fragile psyche, what happens when...
Not a hater but a realist. AK's coach (johnson) said he dogged it and wasn't the player they thought he was going to be after signing the contract. So I think there are two confirmed valid points, his fraility and his lack of heart. Both can be mitigated by not signing him.
The Jazz front office rarely speaks ill of current and former players preferring to keep that stuff "in-house". So I think it speaks volumes that coach Johnson basically said AK dogged it. AK has been hugely successful in Russian and Euroleague play before it did not translate into success for...
He tries too hard.. I am embarrassed for him when he says things like that.
Did anyone catch his radio show when he was talking about comedians and he did the bit about "people who push the crossing button at street lights"? it was literally painful to hear.
Disagree with you. AK is not realistic, the Jazz FO showed that they had very little (if any) interest in resigning AK. On top of this Phil J came out and said what the coaching staff really thought of AK. This sealed the deal there is less chance of AK coming back then Batum or Wallace.

The team looked better last night, but I think this is due to the competition and playing at home rather than Harris picking up his game. I thought his defense on Jack was horrible. He could not or would not stay in front of him, I watched him (Harris) jog back on defense and watch plays rather...
thats a valid point. But weren't you just being critical of Kanter in other post because of his difficulty last night? Didn't he miss out on a full training camp and preseason?
Goodpoint - my brother and I were discussing who the floor leader or team captian is on this team. My thoughts:
Harris - does not seem like he wants to be a leader and he makes poor decisions. -Not good leadership material
Jefferson - See D Harris
Favors -Too young inexperienced.
Hayward - see...
+1 Excellent post -I feel the same way. There was no teamwork, the ball movement was piss poor and it didn't appear that there were 5 hungry guys on the court willing to do whatever it takes to win.
Blue - maybe you can enlighten us as to how to win a championship. Drafting is the way huh? The way Boston did when they picked up Garnett and Allen? or the way the lakers did when they picked up Shaq to win three titles and then Pau to win more? Or are you talking about the way Miami picked up...
Yes San Antonio cheated so did Boston a few years ago but it back fired on them.
By all definitions intentionally losing is cheating. You are purposely increasing your odds of winning the lottery by tossing games. This is not the intent of the lottery. What if ten or fifteen teams decided to...
Not gonna go into my religous beleifs but I am not LDS nor a fan of any religion. To have values and beliefs does not make one a religous freak it makes one principled.
Your reasononing is flawed - there is no guarantee that by imntentionally losing games it will get us to the promised land...
Do you know what they call people who constantly lose???? LOSERS.
The one thing about this organization is that they have tried to compete in a way that was the "right" way. We had some bad teams that were supposed to compete for the worst record of all time. That team came out and suprised...
