Or if he leaves next seasonI see Rubio going down as one of the all time Jazz greats. Somehow he brings the magic to Utah.
Only concern with him is injury.

I think the solution for guys like Favors and Rubio is to stay long term. And the way they become club legends is to take Manu Ginobli or Tony Parker type deals. Both of those guys took less than market value to stay and compete for titles. If Rubio were to sign some long term declining, reasonable contract extension, I could see him here the next 6-8 years. After this current deal, if Favors were to sign some long term deal making less than $10 a year, that would be perfect.
Rubio and Favors are probably not starters on a champion, but they would be elite 6th, 7th or 8th men for a champion. I hope our plan and their plan is to stick around long term on team friendly deals.
Exum got 11 mill a year. What do you think Rubio would want? He's going to get 20 mill somewhere imo
Ricky had finally landed with a coach who believes in him and has encouraged him to play to his full potential. He ain’t going nowhere
I hate agreeing with such an arsehole but yeah I reckon he stays for Jingles type money. Looks to play out the rest of his career with the Jazz, maybe a late cameo for Barca in his mid 30's
Could be something...?
Maybe for a free agency 2019 thread but I don't got the balls to start one.
Who in the world is going to pay Rubio 20 million a year? I'd bet most of the NBA still sees him as an average starting PG, and there's not really a lot of teams who don't have point guards right now.
