Jazz need to get on a roll somehow. Momentum is a helluva drug. Acquiring Conley was clearly a mistake, but I’m hoping for a Rubioesque post all star bump in production. If they want to win in the playoffs, they’re going to need more from Conley and Clarkson.

Plus they signed Jeff Green to an end of the season contract yesterday. That will put them over the top.

21 games remaining. Jazz still in 5th place at 39-22 . if playoffs started today Jazz would face Houston.
They are 0.5 games behind Houston for 4th place and 2.5 games behind Denver for 3rd place.
But they are 1.5 games ahead of Okc and 2.0 games ahead of Dallas.
After the last 3 games against weak teams (Was, Cle, NYK) the jazz remaining strength of schedule vaulted into the 9th most difficult. And they are about to go through a stretch of 8 games in 12 nights starting in Boston and ending with a home and home with the Lakers.
