2024 ALL TIME NBA SIM RESULTS

I think the voting should have happened before the SIM came out. Now we know by players who the SIM things will win, so it will taint the voting results.

That said, dude that's a ton of work, mad respect and it's just awesome. Love it.

I actually was going to tell Prince to hold off posting this till after the voting just now but he beat me to it. Lol oh well…

Yeah I knew everyone was going to say I rigged it because I won like I did. I wish it was more competitive. If you were here last year you'd have seen I did good in the season then lost to @NUMBERICA in the Conference Finals.

Then We ran a current NBA sim and I got kicked out the first round. I do this just to add some entertainment to the forums, and I call it down the middle. I scout my talent very well and check their overall ratings. If a guard has bad perimeter Defense I don't pick them up, and if a big has bad interior D or rebounding I don't pick them up. Hence why I went with Cowens, David Thompson, Mullin, Gilmore, and Iceman and stayed away from modern players because a lot of those guys aren't great defenders.

I wasn't serious. I doubt you'd be so petty to rig a silly forum game.

I appreciate all the work you've done. :)

@Fosto Thanks. I like doing it though, and writing is kind if a hobby so I love to summarize my work. It just gives us something fun to do here. I would like for us to make like an all time league and have trades activated and we run it for like 5 seasons (maybe sim a season per week-2 weeks) to keep people more interactive on the forums during the slow season.

Just in case it wasn't clear it was a joke, I absolutely don't think you rigged this. It's a sad state of affairs if someone needs a win so badly they would rig something like this. I'm sure I speak for all when I say we appreciate you putting in the work.

And congrats on the win!

Yeah I know but I just want to get it out there that I played it fair and square. I honestly felt bad and thought about running it back to get new results because I didn't expect it to go like that :(

Also @gandalfe Walton did well off the bench. I think he averaged 11 ppg and 4.7 apg but I'll have to look back on it tomorrow. I started him last year and he was a monster next to Malone.

@The Fresh Prince outstanding work. This was such a fascinating contribution to JazzFanz on your part. I’m personally satisfied to see my team come back from a 3-0 deficit to beat Michael Jordan’s team in a playoff series, maybe the first time Jordan lost a sim or anything on this website. Also glad to see that Kobe Bryant, Derrick Rose, and Moses Malone worked things out and shined.

I trust that you run the sim in a truthful and ethical manner and appreciate the work you put in.

Yeah, I probably should have started him, I figured he'd be good to be the bench leader. I was probably thinking too real world, rather than video game. :)

I loved this sim because it helps reaffirms that dudes like Pettit are more valuable. When I first started doing the draft, I’d draft him all the time, but everytime I did I’d get comments on him that he couldn’t play in this era and would be a scrub. I even drafted him as a starter in the past. I stopped because people said my team was subpar because of him being a starter and he had no business being there.

Hey I spent my entire day writing this for you guys.

Last year I lost both sims. I just happened to make a solid all around team. I didn't expect them to breeze through the playoffs, but they did. Also minute distribution was issued to my backups. I didn't play Ewing a ton of minutes, and I gave Gilmore and Dave solid minutes as well. I heavily scout talent so maybe that's why I had success because i drafted based on compatibility. All of my perimter guys were great defenders, and all my post guys were as well.

No one's going to talk about Bob Pettit spanking LeBron in the first round? Lmao I wanted to draft him so bad too.
Thank you very much for all of your time.
