2024 NBA Draft Reaction Thread

I forget which NFL team it was, but there was one who were so sold on a prospect that they avoided all contact as to not tip off their other teams. Didn’t invite him to work out, didn’t interview him, didn’t even say his name to people in the org.

Other teams that actually did do their due diligence snuffed out some red flags and he would have fallen if the team who purposely ignored him not taken him.

I’m not saying this happened with Holland, but from the outside this is what that looks like lol. Drafting players without a workout happens all the time, it’s usually doesn’t happen when the guy is projected way below and you made no contact at all.

Maybe Langdon worked him out in NOLA when he was still there...
 
Also there was a rumor out there put out by a Pistons beat writer than Langdon didnt like the G-League prospects. It seems like Detroit wanted to the "Holland is falling" narrative to stick.
