Depends. Sarr did not workout for Atlanta and they probably weren't taking him #1 overall as result. Most drafts have a certain consensus of dudes who will be Stars and, if they fall in that group, there isn't much reason to work out except for a few teams.

I'm not sure there are any big moves to be made this summer. Based and recent trades the price to acquire even mediocre vets is sky high, and there wasn't anything in this draft that warranted cashing in a bunch of chips.

I will acknowledge that Ainge is pretty good at manipulating the media. He's good at dropping quotes and letting info slip out to create a smokescreen or misdirection.
At least that, but what he's not doing is giving the team a direction. Lauri emerging as he did was an incredible stroke of luck. However, we need some sort of direction because waiting for the "big game" is not a viable strategy. Proper luck is simply executing the proper course of action at any time. I grant that you don't ship players for the sake of making trade, but FFS, if we're doing a full rebuild, let the young players play and get the Vets out of here. If we aren't doing that, why aren't we working on signing players that can contribute immediately to maximize Lauri's contract?

No, but we do need to pay Lauri and as much as I like Lauri, it might turn into a Beal situation where Utah is forced to bend the knee because there are no other options.
We got these players BECAUSE they were injured last year. Otherwise both would have went higher.
