Kings are just Kangzing right now!!!! Trying to give up Monk for Schroeder on a sign and trade and then paying him that... while having a meh team... that also employs Ellis and Carter... and Lavine and Derozan (for now). Like Schroeder is more PG than Sexton but the quality of player is just so different lol.

Kings are on the everyday call list... Kings, Pels might need to be every hour.
Im just shocked. Schroeder played like a minimum contract player last year. Im guessing the last year is a team option (hoping for their sake). But even that's insane. He should have gotten 2/10 at the most.

Its just weird when like both Jones brothers are better bets to fit on a team and not be assholes in the locker room. Schroeder in a contract year in a limited amount can be pretty good. Every team that signs him long term has regretted it... and playoffs obviously way out weighed things.

How are small guards who are good like Monk and Sexton not worth much but teams paying Schroeder... Kings.

Kinda crazy how these recent Finals teams Boston and Indy could potentially be tank teams next season due to the new CBA and injuries.
Indy won't tank. Too many good players. Too good of a coach. Boston may not either but they have a thin roster so one injury and I could see them packing it in. Both teams we will get a head start on. I am not worried about the tank next year.

Appears to me Klutch/Sexton wanted Charlotte. He's from that part of the country too (actually Georgia).
Klutch/Clarkson wanted the Knicks.
The Jazz made it happen for them both. That is the most reasonable explanation I can come up with.

There's never any explaining what the Kings do though.
That would be my guess as well.

Boston and Indy also play in the East. They can just roll with what they have into the play -in with little issue.
I do wonder if the vacuum at the top of the conference got some folks a little too excited and too many teams that should be rebuilding try to seize the opportunity... making it surprisingly competitive.

So many teams are going to crash out, as long as the Jazz avoid any bad long term salary, they should be able to fill up on bargains next summer.
Salary dumps could be pretty frothy next season. Haven't looked at FA list a ton but there might be some value there too.

If this is the market for Monk and Sexton... like did Austin Reaves make a mistake turning down 4/100M? I know he is taller but still a pigeon.

Yeah, Indy and Boston won't be tanking next season. They try to be as good as they can without Tyrese and Tatum and hope they are fit to play late in the season or the playoffs.

It should be a rule that before and after you make any call to another team you must call both the Kings and Pelicans.
