Will Riley for Chicago
You don’t draft for need unless the talent difference is minimal. Passing on a top prospect for need is a perfect example for a gm of what to do to lose your job. I think he passed on a couple prospects with high potential.I think he's a situational player and Washington could be a perfect spot for him. If I believed more in Sarr I would really be in to that pairing.
That is possible. The biggest weakness CMB has is his shooting. His jump shot doesnt look broken and he is decent from mid range. He is very good with his back to the basket. The wizards have no player that is great with their back to the basket. Not to mention Sarr hangs around the outside too much. Granted our shooting isn't great yet.You don’t draft for need unless the talent difference is minimal. Passing on a top prospect for need is a perfect example for a gm of what to do to lose your job. NoAren't you one of the posters arguing about how good Tre Johnson is based on his production on a bad team in the SEC?
Based on that logic you should have CMB top 2 on your board.
Somehow CMB managed to be his entire team's offense AND defense in the same conference as Tre Johnson, yet Tre Johnson is the clear cut #3 and CMB can't be considered at 6?That’s not my point. Tre has defensive and playmaking chops. He was actually a good defender the first half of the season and it trailed off for whatever reason in the second half be it injuries which he mentioned in an interview or just fatigue, I don’t think he had the best team around him in a very good conference. He was his teams offense. He had to be stellar every game to win some of those games.
Because Tre is better. It’s not rocket science.Somehow CMB managed to be his entire team's offense AND defense in the same conference as Tre Johnson, yet Tre Johnson is the clear cut #3 and CMB can't be considered at 6?
I just rather take talent over a situation it should be a bigger priority for a rebuilding team like the wiz.I think he's a situational player and Washington could be a perfect spot for him. If I believed more in Sarr I would really be in to that pairing.
So I can’t have an opinion about who I think is better? This is the special snowflake treatment Tre gets. If playing in the SEC on a “bad” team means something to you, so be it. But if it only matters for one player in the conference you’re just being fan.
