2031 Swap (from MIL)

76ers get:
Jordan Clarkson (from UTA)
John Collins (from UTA)
#5 (from UTA)

Bucks get:
Paul George (from PHI)
Svi (from UTA)
2 2025 2nd Rounders (from UTA)

Would you do it? You could also switch Clarkson and Sexton

Given the growing consensus of Ace being "risky" and teams preferring VJ, I'm not sure I (personally) see a ton of value in moving up to the #3. Certainly not at the expense of 1) taking on Paul George or 2) giving up Lauri.

I'd just about give up the house to move up to #2. But if VJ goes 3 or 4, that leaves us one of Tre or Ace and I'm cool with that.

Of course it doesn't matter bc we're probably preordained to take Kon at 5.

If the front office feels really strongly about someone like VJ then I would definitely be down for this. Philly gets off money with expiring contracts at the cost of moving back for a comparable position. Could still likely get the guy they want to build around with Maxey/McCain while still giving it a roll this season to see if Embiid can do anything. The Jazz get Lillard as a mentor this year but also dead money to help us lose, plus a swap that could be juicy if we can bundle it with the Minnesota pick as well.

Don't love it for Milwaukee, but Bradley Beal got moved after I thought he was stuck because Durant wanted him. If Giannis believes in PG then it seems like a solid trade for them to turn Dame's dead money into something next season.

Now imagine thinking it's a good idea to take a 200 mill contract to go up 2 spots. The 3rd pick ALONE has to be worth taking that garbage

I personally love the idea of getting Dame as a mentor this year as he rehabs, and then healthy next year. I’m fully invested in sucking again this year, adding another high pick (hopefully AJ or Boozer), and trying to start contending for a playoff spot next year. I know I’m not the only one who would be down to trade for Dame on here

There’s no way the jazz would take PG and swap 3 for 5 and give back Lauri. If that’s the case Ryan Smith should just sell to someone that would end up moving the team, because that’s a dumbass trade.
