Magic threw in all of their draft capital to make sure of it. Still mind boggling they didn't use their assets to target a PG. Suggs is good but can't stay healthy.

Maybe I've been too pessemistic about Lauri's value. I think the Indiana "that could be us" effect may lead to some expensive payouts

Honestly IDK if it is. It certainly isnt bad, but Bane has a contract that is somewhat palatable for your 3rd option. That's kind of hard to justify with Lauri in this new CBA.
