I would be shocked. I think Boucher is the only person who might get waived. Doesnt have any incentive to be bought out because no one is going to sign him.

Adding a healthy Kess to this IND roster would certainly make them a playin team at least. So they'd be more willing to offer is the 2026 first unprotected.

This year's lottery. If they get lucky they would get a pick 5-9 from IND. Imagine adding a Caleb Wilson or Keaton Wagler to their roster.

Yeah that may be their goal, but I think making the playoffs without Zubacs is pretty unlikely.

We wouldn't be having this conversation at all if Pacers haven't already done so for a worse player in Zubac... They literary gave up 47% chance at landing a top prospect in a loaded class to add Zubac, which is a LOT. And more if you take into considerations of the talents they SURELY would miss out on in the 5-9 range.
