Bodhi and Franklin are smart dudes, but I'm gonna remain a lot more optimistic about Hayward. There is no question he isn't meeting expectations, but I see literally nothing being done to the offense to help him out. Not only is he expected to get 90+% of his production within a stagnant feed-the-post offense that doesn't highlight his unique skill set, but he isn't even playing alongside athletes that can complement his skills (I think the high screen with Favors and Enes needs to happen A LOT MORE).
He's responsible for getting his shot dialed in, but a lot gets pinned on the coaches' schematics.
I still have full faith that we'll see him hit 15/4.5/5 (not this year, obviously)
And, oh yeah, his defense is coming along pretty nicely. Most of us thought he'd really struggle in that department. He's already serviceable, and could be much better than average.
