You and Numby are idiots. No, she wasn't a hot dog vendor. She also told me Favors would be back Dec. 10, which was just about right.

Burks has been trade bait for the past two or three seasons. He got hurt every time. Not many GMs will give up a well adjusted, skilled player who' s bought into a team concept to trade for a injury prone, overpaid, inexperienced Burks.
I say bring him back let him play 30 minutes a night and let everyone else rest. When he gets hurt again in the second week of February, the rotation can go back to what it was.
Overpaid certainly isn't true.. He's in the 20's on the list of highest paid SG's.. Burks contract the next 2½ seasons is in fact a ridiculous bargain. He can play minutes at PG, SG and SF for a majority of the teams in the league.
Some talk about him here like he's been hurt riding a mo ped, or playing in a pickup games... That Paul Pierce foul wasn't even a basketball play..
If Burks comes back as vintage Burks along with Hill. Mack and Exum will get big minute reductions, Hood could push for some minutes at SF as well which would limit Joe Johnson somewhat. I don't imagine JJ would be too upset with that as we need to keep him crunchy until the playoff run.
The reality of the thing is that we are going to have more injuries, we just need to avoid having 4 or 5 players injured at one time. We could actually DNP players for rest and not actually throw the game with our depth.
It was tweeted that after his workout tonight he dunked the ball while passing it between his legs mid air.
I expect him back shortly lol.
HillI think I'd like to see some guys rest on back to backs and stay fresh. JJ, Exum, AB, Diaw, all are candidates for this. Maybe even Hood here and there. I want to see quadruple wing with Hill, Hood, Burks, and Hayward.
As I've said months ago: Burks is clearly the odd man out. Nevertheless, I don't think the Jazz management will trade him right away. They'll probably give Burks some burn no only to increase his value, but also not to risk that the fanbase ends up thinking that one of the players was dumped just for being injured, without being given any chance to prove himself. By not trading him right away, they will also appear "fair" to the other players on the roster - which is a big bonus.
Regarding Burks' minutes, I think they will oscilate between 8 and 20, depending on the match-ups and on how he plays during his first minutes. I think about 75% of his floor time will be spent at the 2, backing up Hood, and the rest eating up a few minutes from Mack and Exum.
According to basketball reference, Ingles currently plays 26% of the time at the two - which amounts to around 4 and a half minutes per game. Those minutes will probably go to Burks. If Ingles remains hot, he'll probably eat up a couple of more minutes at the 3 spot, from 10 minutes per night to about 12. No big deal. Hayward might lose a couple of minutes (especially after Hill returns), which will help him to remain fresh for the playoffs, and Johnson playing time might decrease from 24 to around 18.
The challenge for Snyder will be to keep everyone happy with the reduced minutes. I think he can do it if the team keeps winning...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HktV2yGtLv8What's so funny about saying something that a person who works for the Jazz said, especially when it might be true because they may happen to know someone who does know? Even if she was a hot dog vendor. We shall see, won't we? No one knows when Burks will be back because the Jazz won't tell us, so a hot dog vendor who works for the Jazz may be the best source we can get.
I wonder if Burks will be used as trade bait?
