It's a blog post written by an astronomer. There a significant and growing history of diseases like whooping cough, measles, etc. resurging in unvaccinated children in the USA, though.
Vaccines are a joke, made from the diseased flesh of mostly african monkeys.
1) African monkeys can't interbred with monkeys on other continents. They are entirely African, nor not at all Aftican.
2) Vaccines are made from germs grown in a sterile environment. Monkeys are not sterile.

Improved sanitation, air quality and social conditions are factors sociologists typically correlate with improved life expectancy and health in the general population. As for individual cases and diseases there could be a number of causes, of which vaccination (or lack thereof) may or may not even be relevant.
Vaccination is obviously relevant. Smallpox was eliminated through vaccination in even the least sanitary countries/conditions; my kids were not required to get that vaccine (I was). Measles is making a comback in the USA/GB despite the comcparitively superior sanitary conditions. That's because smallpox and measles are caused by germs, and fought by vaccinations.
Also, that article says there is a significant increase in cases of whooping cough compared to just one year ago in the state of Washington. Then the author says that the "anti-vax" movement is strong in Washington, as a certain number of parents don't want to vaccinate their children.....
So, is the author making some leap to say that there is a causal relationship here?
Not a leap, more like a babystep.
The author presents no meaningful connection from the data that kids who weren't vaccinated in the last year account for the new cases of whooping cough.
Edit: And what's special about Washington in the past year? What about the people who don't get vaccinated in other states?
They still have to catch it from someone. The measles outbreaks occured in pockets, just like whooping cough.
Separately, what are the radiation levels in the Pacific Northwest during the past year since the Fukushima reactors have been releasing over 100x the 'safe' levels of radiation into the jet stream that flows into the state of Washington.
Maybe there are some other causal factors at work here.
We know what diseases are caused by radiation, and at what levels. We also know what causes whooping cough, and what prevents it.
