Thinking more about La Frontera, my tastes for Mexican have evolved in the past ~20 years since I had been there. I’d be curious what my opinion of it would be now. I remember back in the late 90s/early 2000s the place I really liked was Dos Serranos and I would eat their shredded beef burrito. Would definitely eat something else now, but curious if my different tastes would appreciate that now as much as I did then. We had one on 106th and state, essentially across the street from La Frontera. When I got back from a mission they had closed that location and I remember driving out to Jordan Landing to get takeout and eat that burrito again. I think that’s the last time I ate that because they closed all their locations.
