Best shows on TV?

Watchmen is incredible. What it says, how it says it, the cinematography, rewriting the original history, the acting, simply everything. It has been a pleasure to watch, and I can't wait to finish it tomorrow (at least, Season 1) and then rewatch it, because, like the original comic, there are so many deep layer in it, you just know you're going to find more and more going through it again.
Agreed. Fantastic show. HBO nailed it again. Everyone should be watching it.

I started and finished the Mandalorian yesterday. What a pointless, underachieving, terrible writing, rushed, zero plot line **** show.

How the **** did this show get made this bad?

There's zero character development. Each episode is in a different place and presents the same exact challeges of the Mandalorian must defeat the bad guys and save baby Yoda.

The episode where they're on the planet with the farm people that live in a village and are all dressed up like they're from Link's village from Legend of Zelda was just horrible. The costumes were horrible. The acting. The ****** attempt to train the farmers to fight. The rushed love interest. The random fight between the Mandalorian and the chick then they decide to settle it by eating soup.

For 100 million bucks, Disney ****ed this one up way worse than John Carter.

They probably made a **** ton of money off it.

Take away baby Yoda, who doesn't do **** anyway, and nobody would be watching this show anymore.

It kind of reminds me of the hokey action adventure shows of the nineties like Xena or Hercules, but with better production values.

It’s a good watch for family but like most Star Wars things it is super overrated. I find them all entertaining but nothing about them gets me excited to watch... can’t believe some nerds base they whole life on that stuff but whatevs.

It's overrated for sure, but at the same time knows what it wants to be: a half hour action/adventure romp with slick production values. It's the show they had to get out there to sell their streaming service, so some episodes do seem rushed and generic like the farm village. I expect season 2 will be better.

After six episodes in, I know nothing more of the Mandalorian or the "kid" - which they don't even give a name. The laziness in the writing and failure to develop the characters on a 100 million dollar budget is disappointing. I was looking forward to the series and while I did finish all six episodes, it was just a gimmick to get people to subscribe to Disney+, like you said.

You guys are smoking crack. It's good. It knows what it is and does it well.
