What's new

Bucks @ Jazz | Monday November 29th @ 7pm

Great game by the Jazz. Over coming the 8 on 5 odds. It's a good thing this game ended up as a blow out or else the crowd would have went nuts on the refs. When was the last time the Jazz shot 20 less free throws and still won, let alone by 21. This wasn't a case of the Jazz being soft. They score 50+ in the paint. The refs simple swallowed their whistles for some reason.

Oh well, who cares, they won and Evans through down an incredible dunk. It was a great night!

I'm already tired of Matt "Hyperbole" Harpring. Bring back Boone!

I totally disagree. Harp is 10 times more entertaining and insightful, in my opinion. Boone would be better if he would EVER finish a sentance. His mental pauses drive me up the wall.

Man, some people here really don't have a clue about this game I guess... Even though the guy got the foul, what Harpring was pointing out was that was the difference between a good team and a bad team was the fact that if the guy would have passed it to the wide open man, they would have gotten the easy two...

It was actually a good observation even though they got the foul... Oh and by the way, the guy missed one of the free throws too... So actually, it ended up working out better for the Jazz...

LOL - talking about not having a clue - so you think it's better to maybe have two points than to have two free throws and the opposing team's playmaker and best player forced to sit down?

And the fact that he missed a free throw is besides the point - what if Williams slapped the ball away or they made a bad pass or missed the layup?

As to the announcer debate, Boone is a trillion times better than Harp. Listening to Harp is embarrassing. He's such a homer. I hate listening to any telecast where the announcers go on and on about how great their players are. The one great thing that separates Jazz telecasts from others is the fact they actually show other team's highlights. Boone complimented that because mostly he was just watching a basketball game. He always talked about the other players. He had an allegiance to the Jazz, but the way he like the Jazz never seemed corporate. Harp just bugs me. And he's still way too close to the court for my liking.

What if... What if... What if... Yeah, keep yackin pal!

The way Watson and Price have been playing... And the way this game went, we really didn't need Deron towards the end anyway...

But it isn't the point... Do you really think that the player drove into Deron knowing he had 3 fouls?? Maybe... But I doubt it... This was a young, unprepared Bucks team on the floor tonight, not so much because of coaching, but because they had a lot of young guys out there because of some injuries...

Crazy Thing: The last 2 minutes of a blowout were awesome. Watson dishing 2 alleyoops. That first one to Evans was awesome. Evans breaking to the hoop like he did as a rookie, Watson the Vet finding him. Timing play that 2 guys who know nothing about each other and haven't had much court time together link up for. Late in the game, whatever. I'll bet we see that again in a more important spot.

Tonight's game was awesome for Big Al. With Milwaukee's limitations inside, the game slowed down for him for a night. Al's like a kid in a candy store for us. 25, thrilled to be here, and tons of upside. He's going to be scary good when he gets our system down.

First of all, yeah, I think he did know Williams had 3 fouls on him. Because Scott Skiles is a smart enough coach to remind his players of that. Especially when The Bucks are playing without their best player.

Second of all, you're wrong, the Buck player hit both free throws (look it up). The two free throws made it a 5 point game with about 3 minutes left in the 3rd.

All I'm doing is throwing Harpring's logic back at him. As posted eariler, he contantly states Williams is in the best PG in the league. Think of any other player who is the best at their position. Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant, Dwight Howard - if you can think of any scenario where you can get two free throws AND force them not to be able to play their regular minutes because of foul trouble, especially on the road; you'd take it in a heartbeat. If not you're a dumbass.

When AK plays like that we're almost impossible to beat. Yeah, Milwaukee with injuries, but that AK wins us a lot of games.

Watson with the impressive line of the night:
12 pts, 5-8 shooting, 7 assists, 6 rebs, 2 steals, 1 block

Those look like AK's stats, not that of a backup PG. Will he keep this up?
