No biggie. Take your time.

Qe8+

not a lot of need for time when there's no choice. . . .

edit: well, there is a choice, actually. . . .????. . . . nope. nothing.

and I think you see the corner, your Ka6 refuge. . . .

looks like this will result in another rocker with draw potential. . . .

You're right, of course. Unless you want to see it concluded, I do offer a draw.

You're right, of course. Unless you want to see it concluded, I do offer a draw.

This game still belongs entirely to you per the rules I live by.

It's been fun to pursue it to this point and thank you for tolerating the exercise, and giving me this challenge. I'd been thinking that my pawns' ability to project a check could even offer a chance to "win", but this particular position you take doesn't do that. And it's not entirely clear to me I can force you into the one that does, so a "draw" is reasonable.

this position givers you the choice of a5 or b2. or c4. the b2 leads to a checkmate by my Queen at Qb5, a5 and c4 are checkable positions for my Queen. c4 sets up another draw rocker, a5 is checkably by the pawn. Sure you can take it, but you lose cover and give my queen three more mate positions protected by the Rook. If you don't take it, I'd have to check you again, you could retreat to a7 and another check by my Queen, and your interposition of a pawn, sets up another draw rocker. . .

Amazing what a loose queen can do in a game just one move from mate.

OK, I guess I can take the pawn without giving you the Queen.

It does restrict your nice rook line.

O-O

so I like that rook line for myself.

I'm on a drive again to LA and other points on business, alone this time, so back on the mini. Not sure about this.

I actually expected you to advance toward Queening tour pawn. I've been over this a dozen times on my board, there are so many ways this could go, and I bet you've got one I haven't seen.

But overall I've prolonged this further than I thought I could.
