Clarkson Opts In

and we also played alot of back to back games iirc. the lord hates utah
Yeah you would think with all these Mormons praying for a ring all these years something would change. Maybe they pray too much so God is just ignoring them, like a bunch of kids asking "are we there yet" on a long car ride.

I think the guys we have just need to facilitate a little more. You still want them to be aggressive on offense and not so passive like Conley. Lakers was a good example. They played dlo, reeves, Schroeder and lebron all of them can facilitate. It worked Vs Memphis but not Vs Denver. They needed a 3rd scoring threat. If they have sexton or jc they could’ve made it more competitive.

The Lauri assisted rate is getting a bit overblown. Andy made it sound like spoon feeding. Rudy lob is spoon feeding. With lauri you think of it like YAC in football. How far you can take the ball after catching it and how many times you reach the endzone. Lauris endzone rate is pretty high. The name finisher is really appropriate.
I am going with way overblown.

If that means they give him a giant raise this year then a giant cut the next two, then hell yah. If the reverse, nah.
Based on the number reported and our cap space it will be a renegotiate and extend. Locke mentioned it today too...

24, 15, 15 gets right to 54M over 3 years.

None of the big news outlets have reported Clarkson is opting in. Seems weird. Maybe he will be traded.
No, it is the other way around. If the scuttlebutt was that he is likely to get traded they would have all picked up the story because they could talk about the other teams. But it is just an internal thing to the Jazz, so no need for anyone other than Jazz beat writers to report on it. Of course, if LeBron sneezes they report the **** out of that ****. But Utah has to blow the whole thing up to get picked up by the big news outlets.

Is there anymore news about his extension? He opted in but up to now there’s no detail about his contract.

So this extremely front loaded contract means they have no intention of trading him?
This would not be appealing to teams or maybe it would?
