Clippers won't trade Bledsoe for Doc Rivers and Kevin Garnett

Why would Boston want/need Bledsoe? Is Rondo going to be traded too?

I've read speculation of them then flipping Bledsoe and some other stuff to Orlando for Afflalo.

Or they could trade Rondo who would bring in a lot presumably.

Or they could keep them both, cuz they both are quasi injury prone

DeAndre Jordan, a pick, and salary players makes sense for the Clips as it will almost guarantee that they re-sign Chris Paul long-term, they get out of Jordan's big contract, and Garnett is a free agent next season or can retire after this last run. Plus, the Celtics will buy-out Paul Pierce and then Paul Pierce will sign a one year plus player option MLE deal with the Clippers. The Clippers will have Paul, Garnett, Blake, Pierce, Crawford, Billups, and Bledsoe. That could either be a Championship team out of the West or the Lakers Part 2. Celtics get a couple young pieces and picks and salary cap space to rebuild around again. Maybe they sign Jefferson and start Jordan and Jefferson?

I think the Howard deal would include Griffin AND Bledsoe, which makes a LOT of sense for the Lakers. Bringing over Garnett is like the Jazz trading for Jefferson; Clips are trying to do whatever it takes to keep CP3. And maybe Paul has signed off on Rivers being the coach. But this is like the LeBron sweepstakes. Nothing is going to happen until Howard makes his decision, which will probably include CP3 as well...unless Dwight decides to stay with the Lakers. And that's a possibility. After all, he backed out of playing with Deron. He could have easily forced Orlando's hand on that one. And Bledsoe will stay put until the Clippers have CP3's guarantee that he'll re-sign with them.
