Wow... Where the hell is AKMVP who talking about Exum being average at latheral quikness ??? A PG who is that tall and has this kind of speed, is a legitimate TOP 5 or even TOP 3 Pick.

Those combine athletic testing #'s are extremely misleading at best.

Agreed.

I <3 these measurements for exum at the pg position

I wouldn't say he looks extremely quick on the screen. But then again it's hard to tell on his videos. He certainly doesn't look real explosive. Not vertically anyway., And that is in line with the combine testing. 34.5 isn't great. I'm hoping he can develop a little more in that area.

I can't wait to see him on an NBA court and see how fast he really is. He still feels like a big mystery.

This. Another reason why I don't see any comparison to Jordan or Bryant he's not an explosive leaper. It does appears that he has a quick first step and great open court speed, but then again this is relative to who he is playing and I simply don't know enough about his competition. He couldn't do anything against Smart, but looked good against most of the other U19 PG's. Really not sure what to make of Exum. However I don't share other peoples enthusiasm.

Agility and sprint measurements are important simply because it works. The quickest PGs in the league always had the top scores with these.
3/4 court sprint: Chris Paul (3.22), Steph Curry (3.28), Damian Lillard (3.34)...........Dante Exum (3.19) [lower is better] https://vine.co/v/MXThYKYmiM6

Also one thing you can't dispute is he has such large hands (9.5" width), which should help with ball-handling and rebounding.
