I'm in banking and Deron was just introduced as our new spokesperson at Zions Bank. He talked to us and said he loves Utah and has no plans to leave!

I don't know. I'm not sure this is credible, your bank wasn't inside a Best Buy was it?

I think that I would be saying the same thing if I was being paid by some one to be a spokesperson. But of course I am loving that he said it anyway.

Its legit guys. He was presented to our private banking group. He signed autographs and talked to all of us afterwards as well. Very down to earth and cool guy. Loves SLC and Utah and spends time in st george. In fact my buddy saw him there a few weeks ago at sand hollow reservoir with a sweet escalade and wave runners. But believe me or don't...I don't care. I'm sure you'll see him in Zions Bank commercials though.

We're not questioning the fact he's a good guy and has signed up as the Zion's Bank spokesperson. However, given a Zion's Bank endorsement vs. a slew of national ads (which he'd probably get if he played for a franchise in a major market), well, I'm not sure we should expect him to stick around like Stockton did. John was media-shy; he didn't want the attention. I wouldn't call Deron a media ho (certainly not like Lebron, Kobe, Artest, etc., but he likes being recognized as one of the best players in the game. He likes the spotlight. So yeah, I could see him leaving at some point, as much for the increased recognition as a better opportunity to win a title.

"www.twitter.com/bestbuy" today said Carlos Boozer IS indeed a pedophile.
