We're not questioning the fact he's a good guy and has signed up as the Zion's Bank spokesperson. However, given a Zion's Bank endorsement vs. a slew of national ads (which he'd probably get if he played for a franchise in a major market), well, I'm not sure we should expect him to stick around like Stockton did. John was media-shy; he didn't want the attention. I wouldn't call Deron a media ho (certainly not like Lebron, Kobe, Artest, etc., but he likes being recognized as one of the best players in the game. He likes the spotlight. So yeah, I could see him leaving at some point, as much for the increased recognition as a better opportunity to win a title.
