^ ThisI think Favors is going to get a few good offers. I think he's gone. He's not a guy that wants to be sitting during crunch time.
Not if their star players all have injury issues. The Jazz have seen multiple seasons derailed by injuries. That’s the problem it’s max contracts. If those guys can’t play or take a major step back, it kills your team AND your ability to fill those roles with new players. There’s going to be a LOT of medical issues that need to be resolved with that team before they’re contenders.
Hayward, Irving and Horford have all (now) had major injury issues at some point in their careers. They have to be committed to them. If they can’t stay healthy, or fail to produce. . . they’re not going anywhere.
I saw something on Twitter that they were not married and are no longer together. Questionable source.Or maybe his wife/girlfriend would rather be surrounded by family in order to raise her baby(s) because she doesn't enjoy spending lots of time alone in SLC.
He’s the best 4/5 that’ll hit the open market. There’s no way the Jazz upgrade by moving on. Not sure what the contract looks like, but I think keeping Favors is critical to replicating the success of this season and building off it. Don’t think the Jazz are going to do anything dramatic this offseason, so hopefully keeping Favors and Exum on reasonable contracts are priorities #1 and 2.Please keep him. Solid starting 4 and incredible backup 5. If we lose him, we need to find 2 players (Udoh is not the answer) and very probably both will be worse and will get more money combined than Favors alone.
